Cerebrovascular disease (stroke) death rates by sex:
Definition of cerebrovascular disease : stroke, transient ischemic attack, which is a sudden or a temporary loss of blood flow to an area of the brain, usually lasting less than five minutes but not longer than 24 hours, with complete recovery (See ASA: "Women Less Likely [Than Men] to Have Stroke in the Wake of TIA." )

Only women 85 years old and over die more often of stroke than men. But these women possess a characteristic overlooked by the ideologues out to prove women are victimized by sexist male doctors: They outlived the vast majority of the population, especially the male population.
